Meet Denisa

Denisa Tova has more than 15 years of experience in the financial and investment advisory industry. Denisa is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) practitioner and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, and mediator. She also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations, which support her strong background in the financial and tax planning areas.
She is a founder and a CEO of DaVinci Financial Planning, Inc., a fee-only, full service financial planning and investment management firm. At DaVinci Financial Planning, we also provide divorce planning and mediation services. Denisa works with clients before, during and post-divorce to assist them with making informed decisions related to the complex financial issues they face and empowers them to rebuild financially post-divorce. As a "financial mediator", she assists both parties in negotiating their equitable financial settlement. She educates them about their financial picture, models various property division scenarios, and advises them about the tax and financial ramifications of their divorce. Denisa serves as a financial reporter/expert for a couple of Colorado TV stations. She appears weekly on Denver’s Fox31 KDVR/KWGN covering a wide range of personal financial issues as well as the economy. Denisa writes a weekly financial column “The Money Matters” for the Colorado Springs’ Gazette. She is a contributing author to “Investing in Uncertain Economy for Dummies” (Garrett, 2008). Denisa has contributed to and has been quoted by many local and national financial and general industry publications, such as Chicago Tribute, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Business Weekly, etc. Denisa has earned an M.B.A. She also served as adjunct professor at the Colorado Technical University, teaching personal finance. She serves as the President of the Pikes Peak Law Association. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the American Psychological Association, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Colorado Bar Association, the El Paso Bar Association, and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.
